Here’s a quick wrap of each Australian jurisdiction’s latest COVID-19 statistics for Monday, April 11.

• Victoria — one death, 381 cases in hospital
• NSW — three deaths, 1,568 cases in hospital
• Tasmania — No deaths, 56 cases in hospital

Victoria

There has been one COVID-19 death. 

There are 381 cases in hospital, with 20 of those in intensive care and one requiring ventilation.

There were 9,597 new cases on Monday.

We thank everyone who got vaccinated and tested yesterday.

Our thoughts are with those in hospital, and the families of people who have lost their lives.

NSW

The state has recorded three more COVID-19 deaths. 

There are 1,568 cases in hospital, 62 of them in intensive care. 

There were 13,468 new cases announced on Monday.

In the 24-hour reporting period to 4pm yesterday:

– 96.1% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine

Tasmania

The state has recorded 1,650 new cases.

There are 56 people in hospital with the virus, with 27 showing symptoms. One person is in ICU.
