Oakleigh Grammar is exceeding in early learning

2021 is shaping up to be the best year yet for Oakleigh Grammar, as the School continues to thrive and develop exceptional learning
programs, student development opportu-nities and physical
environments for students.

Oakleigh Grammar is delighted to announce that the School’s Early Learning Centre has again achieved the highest outcome of ‘Exceeding Status’ through the assessment by the National Quality Framework (NQF).

Mrs Shelley Parkes, Head of Junior School, said, “We are delighted to once again maintain our NQF status. With continual improvement of our learning and teaching philosophies, we ensure our ELC is at the forefront of early learning education, laying the foundation for each student to realise their individual interests and capabilities.

Students in our ELC are immersed in our School’s educational programs, culture and community. We ensure the transition to the early years of primary school is developed through an enhanced Prep readiness and transition program. This program aims to ensure that each child is confident and equipped to commence this next step in their learning journey.”

The Oakleigh Grammar Junior School has been recognised as a finalist in the Australian Excellence in Education Awards, which reflects the outstanding innovative culture, as created by their respected educational leader and Principal, Mr Mark Robertson.
